The Star Maidens Circle: The East
In the East is Fantasy and Illusion. Like “daydream” in the West, “fantasy” here carries a different meaning than our usual definition. Fantasy is the fire within spirit; it is imagination flowing freely. It is the elaboration and blossoming of that which was gestated in the daydream. It is the actualization of our spiritual vision, our spiritual path to enlightenment. The shadow side of fantasy is illusion.
The dark mirror occurs when we assume distorted pieces of our vision to be the real thing. These are what we call illusions, a life built on distorted reflections of self, life and others. However clear a glimpse of light may be, to assume that it is the fullness of light and of sacred vision is to follow a path that does not lead to greater and greater illuminations. When we are in the dark mirror, we feel no hope and no fire, and we live in the vision of others. An example would be someone who mindlessly follows a guru.
The light mirror teaches us of our unlimited imagination. We allow moments of illumination to lead us further along our path to enlightenment. Each moment then becomes an opportunity to grow, to see more clearly, and to actualize more of our potential.
In our Movie Drama Wheel, the Product sits here. In this case the product is fully determined by fire and light, actualizing our ideas, and vision.
The Warrior’s Attributes are Speed and Self-Growth. Speed refers to our way of learning. Do you learn slowly and with caution, at medium speed with full purpose and meaning, or fast, making changes on a regular basis? Self-growth is the determination of our spirit to actualize more of our potential, more of who we are truly meant to be. By continually developing and growing, you will gain whatever speed is necessary to move along your path with heart. How fast are you acquiring health, hope, harmony, happiness and humor?
